Welcome

To The Ostrich Hub!

This is the place you can get lots of advice and tips related specifically to your needs as an Ostrich

(This is one of the 4 bird types you could be given when taking the FREE QUIZ).

I hope it helps you focus on what will make the most difference to you on your path towards being as organised as you want to be.

Enjoy!

When the mess is so overwhelming you just go full ostrich - with a picture of an ostrich with its head in the sand

Being An Ostrich, These Will Be Familiar…

  • Like an Ostrich – you may well feel like putting your head in the sand (figuratively speaking!).
  • Things have built up over time, to the point now where you’re feeling a little (or a lot) out of control both at home and in your day to day life.
  • You feel frustrated and want to get things tackled properly, but you don’t know where to start.
  • You’re also finding it hard to get motivated because the task at hand feels just too big.

Being disorganised is now affecting your life in many ways:

  • You may be avoiding having guests in your home
  • You’re forgetting appointments
  • You’re wasting time looking for lost items
  • You’re wasting money paying late bills and buying duplicates
  • You’re wasting energy as cleaning and general day to day stuff takes longer because of the clutter

How Does The Ostrich Work With The 3 Home Life Foundations?

These 3 foundations of your home are SPACE (dealing with your stuff), LIFE (dealing with your systems), and TIME (dealing with your schedule).

Each bird type ranks these differently from 1-10 (1 being the worst, 10 being the best).

The goal is to be hovering around 10/10 for all 3 (knowing, of course, that life happens and things change etc…).

With all that in mind, here’s how the Ostrich looks:

SPACE

You’re totally overwhelmed with how much stuff you’ve got. Your clutter is keeping you stuck as you’re not sure how to tackle it – 1 / 10

LIFE

You’re reacting to what needs doing every day, rather than being proactive and setting up systems that will help things run smoothly – 1 / 10

TIME

Instead of spending time how you want and need to, you end up using it fire fighting. You’re very busy but not on the stuff that matters – 1 / 10

Living my best life ignoring the clutter - alongside a picture of an ostrich with its head in the sand

Low scores, yes, but that can be a great thing!

In fact, the good news is that you can start from scratch, one step at a time!

After all, it’s often harder to start from midway and have to decide what’s working and what isn’t – so you get the luxury of creating a home life that works for you – from the start!

The bad news though, is that it DOES all need tackling at some point – and that can truly feel like too big a job…

But don’t worry – I’ve got you, in 3 helpful ways…
