A workout planner helps you to track your workouts each day / week or month – so you can make sure everything is balanced well.
Maybe you want to separate certain workouts by x days, or have a variety of workouts plotted out over the month – this is the easiest way to brainstorm what works best for you.

Note: This template is available in both A4 and Letter sizes, as a pdf template. Although 80gsm paper is adequate for most day to day uses, I recommend printing on paper that’s at least 100gsm for the best results, and 120gsm if displaying the printable. You could also use coloured paper for a more personalised style (I love using brown paper!).
How To Use A Workout Calendar
I’ve created this planner so that you can have a square per day – with 7 across which fits a week nicely, and enough space to easily plot out a month at a time.
You could print it off and add to the wall or to your planner to make sure you stay on track with your fitness routine – and over the weeks / months you’ll start to see what pattern of workouts works best for you and your routine.
It’s also a great way to look back and see what worked in the past. Keep previous months so that you can re-use when needed – great for if you’re training for an event, for example.
