What’s the hurry? In our fast-paced society, it seems like everyone’s always in a rush. We’re constantly on the go, multitasking, and trying to fit more into our day. But sometimes, we need to take a step back and slow down. These 10 motivational busy life quotes will help you do just that. Enjoy!

10 Motivational Busy Life Quotes - Time To Slow Down

Amazing Collection Of Busy Life Quotes:

#1 – “Never be so busy as not to think of others” – Mother Teresa

We all have a lot on our plates these days. Between work, family, and social obligations, it can be hard to find time for ourselves, let alone time to think of others.

However, it’s really important to make the time to think of others, as social interactions can make life much sweeter. If we don’t nourish relationships because we’re too busy, we may well find that those relationships aren’t there when we’re not….

Plus – it’s important to remember that we’re not the only ones leading busy lives. Everyone around us is juggling a lot of different balls, and when we take the time to consider how our actions will affect others, we help create a more understanding world.

So next time you’re feeling frazzled, take a moment to think of others, and see how much better you’ll feel as a result.

QUOTE - Never be so busy as not to think of others

#2 – “Don’t get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life” – Dolly Parton

This quote’s all about balance in life.

Although we tend to focus on one thing more than anything else at any given time (nothing can get your full attention all at the same time, right?!) – these things should change so that the balance can still be gained.

If we concentrate on work all the time – for example – then our leisure and social times will suffer, maybe to the point of not really having a life outside work. Who wants that?!

#4 – “There’s no such thing as being too busy. If you really want something, you’ll make time for it” – Unknown

No one ever claimed that leading a busy life was easy.

Juggling work, family, social commitments, and countless other obligations can quickly leave you feeling overwhelmed and spread too thin. But no matter how busy you may be, there is always time for the things that are truly important to you.

This is because if something really matters to you, it isn’t just something that you want to do – it’s something that you need to do. And this determination and drive will give you the motivation and energy to find the time and make the space for your priorities.

So whether it’s spending quality time with loved ones or taking care of yourself by getting some rest and relaxation, remember that busyness is never an excuse when it comes to making room for what truly matters in your life.

After all, as many wise people have said before, we’re all just too busy making excuses!

#5 – Busy is only good, if there is progress involved…

There is no doubt that leading a busy life can have both pros and cons.

On the one hand, staying constantly occupied and striving to accomplish new goals can be very motivating and exciting, providing us with a sense of purpose and fulfilment.

At the same time, being busy can also create stress and frustration if we’re not careful about setting appropriate priorities and managing our time effectively.

In my opinion, whether busy is good or bad depends on what kind of progress we’re striving for. If all we do is rush from one task to the next with no real goal in mind, then busy-ness will only make us feel stressed out and unhappy.

However, if we channel our drive towards meaningful pursuits like advancing our career or making important contributions to society, then being busy can certainly be beneficial in terms of growth and progress.

QUOTE - Busy is only good, if there is progress involved

#6 – “Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans” – John Lennon

Life is a balancing act. Whether we’re juggling work, family, and friends or trying to fit in time for self-care and personal growth, it can sometimes feel like we’re caught up in a whirlwind of obligations and responsibilities.

But even though life often feels chaotic and unpredictable, there’s one certainty that we can always rely on: that life will continue happening… which is both a blessing and a curse.

On the one hand, it means that no matter how full our schedules may be or how many things seem to be going wrong, we always have the chance to seize new opportunities and make positive changes.

On the other hand, it also means that we need to be mindful of our priorities and learn how to keep moving forward towards them because life will happen whether we plan it or not.

QUOTE - Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans

#7 – If you want something done, ask a busy person to do it. The More Things You Do, The More You Can Do.

It sounds counterintuitive to give a busy person more to do – but think about the last time when you were at your busiest…

Adding a few more things to the TO DO list wasn’t that much of an issue. You were already on the treadmill of getting it done (so to speak) – so you could slot more in without worrying too much.

However – when you’re NOT busy it can be much harder to get the momentum going to do anything.

It’s like comparing rolling a large stone down a road – it takes much less energy to roll it once it’s started, but so much to get it started in the first place…

#9 – “If you want to conquer fear, don’t sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy” – Dale Carnegie

Sitting at home and thinking about all of the things you have to do can be overwhelming and stressful, which only serves to make you more afraid of tackling your tasks.

On the flip side, when you immerse yourself in activity and get in the habit of regularly tackling your responsibilities, you’re better able to keep fear at bay.

Even if facing something frightening or challenging seems impossible at first, as long as you stick with it and stay focused on moving forward, the feeling of conquering that fear will certainly give you an enormous sense of fulfilment and pride.

QUOTE - If you want to conquer fear, don’t sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy.

#10 – “Be so busy living your life that you have no time for hate, regrets, worries, or fears” – Unknown
