3 great themes to inspire you for Valentines day
A lot of the presents I’ve shown in the selection above follow 3 main themes, and so I’ve added a few ideas for each of them to give you even MORE things to think about buying….

#1 – Something personalised about you as a couple
This makes a gorgeous gift as it shows you’ve put a lot of thought into choosing it.
- Word art of your names
- Art created from a music wave print – your wedding song or a song that’s important to you for any reason really
- Personalised cushions for your bed
- A mix tape! – You can get retro ones now, or make a CD or a playlist – whatever works best for you. You could do a variety of lists – romantic, for your commute, for the weekend, for a workout – etc…
- ‘Where we first met’ – a map jigsaw of that special place
#2 – Date night tokens
You can buy something and add in your own ideas, or make it yourself – but this can be a fantastic gift that keeps on giving!
My hubby gave me a set of tokens one year – and some of the ideas in it were: –
- Picnic
- Walk in the woods
- Fish and chips in the park
- Back Massage
- Meal out of your choice
These were all things he knew I’d specifically love to do – and also things we may not have done – because we’d just forget about them and not prioritise.
Making them into tokens meant we HAD to do them – and it was great!
#3 – Something to do / share together
I’ve listed some ideas below – but anything that you can do together would make a great gift – especially if it’s something that they love doing specifically – as it shows you’re willing to go the extra mile to make them smile….
