What Is A 30 Day Challenge Calendar?

We all love a good challenge – and a lot of the time they involve doing things for a certain amount of time.

30 days is popular because it’s around a month – and enough time to be a real challenge – whatever the task. There’s lots around to choose from, for sure!

And whenever you set yourself a challenge, it’s worth writing it down and recording it.

That way you can be motivated to get it done, and see your progress each day.

That’s where a 30 day challenge printable comes into play!

How To Use A Challenge Template

Very simply, this tracker has the following:

  • Space for writing the challenge you’ve set yourself at the top of the page
  • Space each day to write anything specific that the challenge requires (some will simply be to do the same thing each day for 30 days, but others will be to do something specific like declutter something specific, or eat something specific etc..)
  • Space next to the day number to write the date – if you have a schedule to do it in.
  • Tick boxes against each day so you can check it off as you go through the challenge.

When you decide on the challenge you want to do, just print off a copy, fill in the necessary details – and then commit to completing the challenge over the next 30 days.

Easy!

It’s part of the Free Printables Library available to all subscribers of OMH, and all you need to do to get access to it is click on the button below and sign up.

Note: This template is available in both A4 and Letter sizes, as a pdf template. Although 80gsm paper is adequate for most day to day uses, I recommend printing on paper that’s at least 100gsm for the best results, and 120gsm if displaying the printable. You could also use coloured paper for a more personalised style (I love using brown paper!).

30 Day Challenge Ideas

#1 – Walk 10,000 steps a day – walk to work, the shops, to do your errands. Get off the bus/train a stop earlier etc… – it all adds up.

#2 – Drink a smoothie every morning – try different flavours to get different nutrients

#3 – Spend 0 – make yourself aware of how much you might not need to spend in your usual life

#4 – Cook all your own meals – get healthier, save some cash, and try new recipes. What’s not to love?!

#5 – Do a random act of kindness each day – always a winner! Donate to charity, help someone you don’t know, pay for someone else’s coffee at the shop – finding the opportunities is half the fun!

#6 – Talk to a friend of family member every day – a great option to try if you find yourself going months without connecting.

#7 – Declutter x things a day – I had to include this one! I used to run a challenge to let go of 5 things a day with different themes (clothes, kitchen items, broken things etc..) – which was a great way to focus on all areas of the house without getting overwhelmed.

TIP – A lot of 30 day challenges can create habits as well, as it’s commonly thought that it takes around this amount of time for a habit to form. That’s even more motivation to try one, right!
