Boost your productivity with a printable daily planner

Sometimes you really don’t need a scheduled diary to plan your day, and that’s where this printable daily planner comes in. Are you ready for a different type of way of tracking things?

Free printable daily planner for productivity - balance your day and get the most out of it

As most of you know by now, I am totally in love with my diary – as I can keep track of everything that is happening at any given time in it – whether it be birthdays, appointments, TO DO’s etc… However, as much as I love to have my planner, I also love to have a place to put less scheduled things, things that I want to track and want to know about but that don’t need to be in my main diary.

You know the type of thing:-

  • Tracking your water and fruit and veg can be a challenge each day so it’s good to have somewhere to put the info.
  • An overview of how you spend your time i.e. is it a balanced day or are you losing your way and spending far too much time on work and not enough on play for example.
  • A place to put the misc. notes that come your way during the day that you want to track i.e. peoples numbers, dates etc…

As such, I came up with what I like to call a daily productivity chart – a place to go to have a quick overview of the day from a less scheduled perspective than a traditional planner gives, and I really do hope that you find it as useful as I do.

Daily productivity planner

What’s in it?

  • A place to track your five a day fruit and veg
  • A place to track your water consumption (I am truly terrible at remembering to have enough water!)
  • A place to write your main TO DO list for the day (I aim for 6 TO DOs each day and this post shows why)
  • A place to record how balanced your day is – space for all my 5 areas of the S.M.I.L.E acronym – Social / Manage the Home / Income / Leisure and Energy. You can then see at a glance whether you are filling in something for each area or giving more time to one area in particular.
  • Notes from the day – for all those misc. things that need writing down somewhere each day (you can then add to your diary or home file etc… as required at the end of the day)

TIP – I printed mine out and then laminated it – so I can simply keep it in my diary and write on it each day (with a dry erase marker) and then reuse the following day – saves paper and ink!

TIP – You could also frame it on your home office or kitchen wall and use a dry erase marker in the same way each day – creating a little bit of useful art!
