Next in line to look at today are handbag organisers – and I have to say I am slightly in love with this find as it really does make life so much easier!
I love handbags – I don’t have loads, but I do like to change them depending on what I am wearing, so I have 3 large ones and a couple of smaller ones which basically do me for any occasion or outfit.
There are a few issues with handbags that I have though, the first being all about having more than one. It’s time consuming having to keep transferring all the contents each time you change bags, not to mention a dull task, but it also runs the risk of leaving something behind – and there are usually a lot of things that go in a handbag:-
This is just a sample of what I can carry on a day to day basis – and I want to be able to ensure that I always have what I need on me and don’t leave anything behind.
The other issue is that handbags can become places that you simply can’t find anything after a while – everything ends up in a mess at the bottom, dirtying the bag itself, and leaving you frustrated every time you need to grab something when out and about. You carry around your life and that involves the mess that the day brings with it as well as what you actually want to carry around…
Now – I’m all for trying to stay neat and tidy and having a clear out each day (or after however long you use it for), but even tidying a handbag can become frustrating as you can easily forget what you have put where and miss a pocket or zip etc….
So you can imagine my joy when I came across this handbag organiser** on Amazon when looking for something to help.
It has loads of pockets so that I can give a specific place to everything I carry around (even a space for receipts that I pick up during the day!), and as such I know exactly where to find something when I go into my bag – whichever bag I go into! – that’s the beauty of this, as you keep the continuity from bag to bag.
It keeps my actual handbag clean, and fits easily into each of my 3 large bags, and has an easy to grab handle on it that helps me to pull it out of the bag without too much hassle.
Overall I absolutely love it!
There is only one issue really – and that’s that it’s too large for my smaller bags, and although I don’t need to carry as much around in these, it would be nice to have something that would work the same.
I haven’t as yet got one, but I am looking at other smaller organisers as a possibility, which I could use 2 of in a bigger bag and split my stuff up into “crucial” and “nice to have” so that I can simply take the crucial one in my smaller bags.
TIP – always take your handbag organiser with you when buying a new handbag so you can check it fits!
As I said at the start, I found my handbag organiser on Amazon, and there are loads on there to choose from (just do a search for handbag organiser). I have also done a quick search online to see what else is out there, and I came across this great video from a supplier that offers a wide range of colours should you wish to have something more specific. The video itself is definitely worth a watch as it goes through loads of ideas for other ways to use a handbag organiser – I found this a great watch and very inspiring!
