{Daily Task #65} – Declutter your bad photos

Task #65:

Scan through the photos on your phone, your computer, and anywhere else you keep photos – get rid of any that are blurred, duplicates, or that you simply don’t need anymore.

My Tips and Advice:

If you get into a habit of always looking back over photos you have taken, and only keeping the best ones – it makes looking through photos, or finding things you need, so much quicker and pleasurable.

In todays digital world, there’s really no reason at all to keep photos that are no good. You can look at what you have taken immediately – and if its poor quality, blurred etc… then simply delete there and then,

Any that get through this first cull will make it into your phone or computer – and having a sort through once a month or however often you can, will help no end.

The benefits are plentiful:-

  • Save disk space by only saving the pictures you love
  • Keep on top of the photos you save – by creating a monthly habit of checking through (makes filing them away easier)
  • Gives you the opportunity in some cases to re-take a photo so you have a good one
  • Don’t spend time and effort keeping photos you will never use

How did you get on?
