{Daily Task #98} – Create a cleaning caddy

Task #98:

Create a Cleaning Caddy – put everything you need for cleaning the house into it so you can grab and move around the house really easily.

My Tips and Advice:

A great way to make cleaning that little bit easier and take less time is to create your own cleaning caddy.

Basically it can be a specific Cleaning Caddy made for the job, or use a bucket – it just has to be something that can carry things around the house in one go.

I have lost count of the number of times I used to have to go up and down the stairs when I cleaned my house because I had left something downstairs, or needed something that was in a cupboard somewhere. Really frustrating!

Gather together all your more commonly needed cleaning supplies and put them all in your caddy – that way you can have what you need when you need it.

Think of adding things like:-

  • All purpose cleaner
  • Microfibre cloths
  • Old toothbrush
  • Window cleaner
  • Anti bacterial wipes
  • Polish
  • Duster

TIP – leave room specific items such as toilet cleaner and kitchen surface spray in their respective rooms as you will only need them in that room – you are only wanting more generic products in your caddy.

So, next time you start cleaning your house, you can carry your caddy from room to room with ease!

How did you get on?

  1. I can't see comments/replies at the ends of your posts. Is that by design or does it indicate a problem? I'd like to see what others' have to say - I'm sure I could learn a lot! Mar 3, 2015 at 3:46 pm #
