Write down all the birthdays/anniversaries and special dates that you have for family and friends into your diary.
My Tips and Advice:
I wrote a post a while back on how to never forget a birthday again, and one of the most important parts of being able to do this was to write things down in your diary as oppose to writing them on a wall planner or birthday book.
This is because everything that pertains to your life and what you need to remember has much more chance of being remembered if you only have to look in one place all the time.
If you have reminders all over the place, then you are less likely to create a good habit of checking them all daily – so why not make it so that you only have to check on place each day instead. It’s about working more cleverly – not working harder!
Treat your diary as your P.A and you won’t go far wrong.
Start today by writing all birthdays and anniversaries etc… into the right date in your diary – so you have an instant reminder when you look at what’s coming up.
TIP – if you have time, write a reminder the week before the actual date as well, to ensure you have time to buy and post a card and/or present for them – or set an alarm on your mobile phone to do the reminding for you.
