Go round the house and touch up paint marks on walls.
My Tips and Advice:
Paint on walls can start to look dirty over time.
There are hand and finger prints, scratches, marks from pens etc…. – and these all add up to make your home look tired.
There is an easy fix, and that’s to take some time each year to quickly touch up your paintwork.
There are 2 main ways that I use, dependent on how much time I have:-
1. Wipe away…
Magic Eraser Sponges** work really well on walls as long as you are careful and don’t wipe too hard (as with wiping with anything, it can take the paint off).
You simply moisten them and then wipe over marks – often this gets rid of the worst of it and it takes literally seconds to make a real difference to the look of your walls.
2. Touch up…
If you have more time, the even better way to do it is to actually touch up the paintwork.
This involves a little more prep – as you need to have access to some paint from each room. I like to keep a little of each rooms colour in a jam jar or equivalent as this keeps it fresh and I can then quickly go round the house and touch things up.
TIP – Label all cans of paint with what they are and what room(s) they have been used in, this makes life a lot quicker!
