{Daily Task #90} – Fix a problem

Task #90:

Take a look around your house – is there anything that you spend ages doing that could be done more quickly if you mended/fixed the issue (such as a door that sticks, a cupboard too full etc…)

My Tips and Advice:

We currently have a cabinet in our bathroom which has a loose handle on one of its doors.

This means that every time I open that door without thinking – I promptly get a handle in my hand and the door stays firmly shut.

Frustrating, yes.

Do I fix it – no!

There are many times in life where things that are pretty easy to fix become so part of our routine, that we don’t even really notice them anymore.

I know that the handle is faulty and I also know that we are replacing the cabinet soon – so I live with it and have found a pretty good workaround that takes a few extra seconds, but means that I get what I need with minimal fuss.

The point is – these little things are all adding to our stress levels (whether we realise it or not), and wasting our valuable time.

So – now is the time to gain back the advantage! Tackle one of these niggles today and you will feel so much better for it – I promise!.

Now, I’m off to find the screwdriver……

How did you get on?

I’d love to know!  –  Why not write a comment below….
