{Daily Task #88} – Heel to toe is the way to go!

Task #88:

Shoe storage can take up loads of room – a quick tip to try for your shoes is to store them in pairs, and each pair store heel to toe (so one is pointing each direction – see the picture below…) – so your task for today is to change the way your shoes are stored.

My Tips and Advice:

Storing your shoes heel to toe really can make all the difference to how many pairs you can easily store on every shelf. It maximises the space you have available, and utilises the space really well.

You’ll be surprised how much more room you have once this task is done.

Also, its amazing how many of your shoes can be more easily recognised when you can see both the heel and the toe without having to take each pair off the shelf. Imagine you had 3 pairs of black shoes – one had pointed toes, another was curved, and another was peep toe – how much easier to be able to grab the pair you need!

Please note though – this works really well for solid shelves or metal mesh shelving – but for the metal shoe rack that is just 2 bars on an incline for each shelf then that style of rack only works when the shoes are stored in the usual way (i.e. heels at the back) – you have been warned! – it’s probably worth considering what storage you have available, as shelving is often the easiest way to store shoes easily and very quickly.

How did you get on?
