{Daily Task #21} Fridge Clutter – Gone!

Task #21:

Declutter the front of your fridge – taking away pretty much everything from the front of the fridge will make the kitchen feel so much less messy and busy.

My Tips and Advice:

If you have clutter on or around your fridge, then get started on the declutter right now!

If you have a non integrated fridge, chances are it will have magnets stuck on it, maybe with the odd piece of paper, a letter, some postcards, the childrens art etc… as well.

If you have an integrated fridge then you may well have pieces of paper, postcards etc… stuck to the front of the unit door.

Simply taking everything off and leaving a blank white (or silver) unit will automatically create a calmer feel to the room.

It’s a quick and easy fix!

Extra Step

If you have the time, and want to create somewhere else to add those things you have removed (not the magnets though!) you could simply use the inside of one of your kitchen cupboard doors.

Using a door in this way means that you get to have everything accessible, but it’s still out of the way so you avoid that visual clutter.

TIP – use a cupboard door that you open often, and then you won’t forget anything that you have stuck there – vital if you use it for school letters/notices etc…..

How did you get on?

I’d love to know!  –  Do you tend to use your fridge as your noticeboard?

I love my fridge magnets … I collect them and buy one wherever I go! Please don’t make me get rid of them

Sorry Moira! – what you could do is get a metal noticeboard and keep them on there instead – you could add the board to a place that looks less cluttered such as a home office or behind a door etc… so it makes less impact than on the fridge. I wouldn’t ask you to get rid of them completely if you love them!
