Daily Organising Tasks – Week #17

Can you believe we are now midway through May!

How time flies…

Today is the start of half term school holidays here – so if it’s the same for you, next week may be easier or harder for you to get things done.

When school is on holidays I try and cut back on working so I can spend time with my daughter, but it’s also a perfect time to get a few extra household jobs done, as I am around the house more, and am less frantic with work (the week before holidays is a whole other story as I am trying to get double done!). I can do a few extra bits in the morning, and then the rest of the time is purely for playing/creating/baking etc…. It’s a good balance that ensures we stay on top of things.

Whether you work or are a stay at home mum, your routine will likely change during the holidays – and I would love to know how you spend your time – please leave a comment below and let me know. Are the holidays busier, do you try and keep them stress free, or do you try and stick to your usual routine no matter what?

As always, here are all the details of the daily tasks for this week (simply click on each day of the week to be taken to the details of the task) – Good luck x

Spending time with friends over the summer weekends can really solidify friendships – especially when everyone is in a relaxed and chilled out environment.

And if you don’t want to have the hassle and stress of hosting – just remember that a BBQ doesn’t have to be hard work at all (unlike a winter dinner party for example) – you can even get everyone to bring something i.e.

  • x number of sausages
  • x number of burgers
  • x bottles of wine/beer/soft drinks
  • puddings
  • bread rolls
  • salads

… everyone will appreciate getting together, and will all muck in!

How are you going?

I would love to hear how you are finding these daily tasks – Let me know what your favourites are, and what you like the least…
